| The nature of Teak means that it will withstand a lot of abuse, but a little TLC will reap benefits. Your Elegant Teak garden furniture is delivered untreated and will have only the natural colour of the wood. Without treatment, your wooden garden furniture will gradually turn a silver grey colour but, even when this happens, your furniture will still give many years of service. Some cracking and splitting is to be expected. Although Teak Oil will not increase the life of the timber, a regular treatment will slow down the greying effect caused by Ultra Violet rays and will help to prevent stains from seeping into the grain of the timber. The oil will change the colour of the wood somewhat and we would suggest a coat of Teak Oil at least twice a yearonto a clean surface. Teak Oil and Teak Cleaner are readily available from DIY stores. Cleaning with a high pressure hose is not recommended! Teak is generally regarded as the best hardwood for garden furniture because of its stability, durability and resistance to wear. |

This substantial wooden garden furniture set comprises a Teak Richmond extending garden table two Sunbury multi-position reclining
armchairs and six Sunbury folding armchairs. All from the quality NOVA teak garden furniture range. The garden table extends from 170cm to
230cm providing ample space for 8.
The table is basically rectangular with slightly curved ends to give a "softer" look. The extension to the table is hidden under the table top,
when not in use (see image) and is easily installed.
There is a parasol hole available whether or not the table is extended. One unique feature of this table is the addition of three granite hot
plates, carefully inlaid into the table top and extension piece, which will ensure that the table is not damaged by hot dishes or serving plates.
The Sunbury armchairs have a Teak frame and Textilene material for the seat and back. As Textilene moulds itself to your body shape, it
removes the need for cushions and is very comfortable. Of course, the recliner chairs can be used at any time to catch a few rays of sunshine!
